I like the way you didn't read from your poster, but you had prepared notes so you could face your audience. The audience participation idea was good, but it might have been better if you'd warned your audience that there was going to be a quiz - they might listen more attentively. Good topic to choose - particularly because it relates to your life. Your next learning step is to speak with more volume and expression.
